Lightsail Solutions Pty Ltd (ACN 637 747 776) ("Lightsail", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through our website, enquiries and marketing, how we use it, and how you can access or correct it. We aim to handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What this policy covers
This policy covers information about people who visit our website, contact us, book a call, respond to our advertising, or deal with us as a business contact. Information we handle for our clients as part of a project or service is governed by our contract with that client, not by this policy.
What we collect
- Contact details you give us, such as your name, work email, phone number, company and job title.
- What you tell us in a form, email, call or booking, such as the process or product you'd like to discuss.
- Information from LinkedIn when you submit one of our LinkedIn lead forms. LinkedIn passes on the details shown in the form, which you can review before submitting.
- Website usage information, such as pages visited, approximate location, browser and device, and the ad or link that brought you to the site. This is collected through cookies and similar tools used by our website platform (Squarespace) and the LinkedIn Insight Tag.
We also collect business contact details (such as name, job title, company and work email) from public sources and business contact databases, so we can contact people about services relevant to their role. If we contact you this way, we'll tell you how we got your details and how to opt out.
We don't ask for sensitive information, and we ask that you don't send it to us through our forms.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange any call or meeting you request
- To provide quotes, proposals and services
- To send occasional updates about our services that we think are relevant to you (see Marketing, below)
- To understand how our website and advertising perform, and to show our ads to people who have visited our site
- To meet our legal obligations
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use it to train AI models.
Marketing
We may contact you about our services if you've given us your details or we have an existing business relationship. Every marketing email includes a way to unsubscribe, and you can also ask us to stop at any time using the contact details below.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only as needed to run our business, with:
- Service providers that host or run our systems, such as our website platform, email and office software, booking tool and CRM
- LinkedIn, for advertising measurement and lead forms
- Contractors and partners who help us deliver work for you, under confidentiality obligations
- Professional advisers, or authorities where the law requires it
Some of these providers store or access information outside Australia, including in the United States and other countries. We take reasonable steps to make sure they protect it.

Our website uses cookies to work properly and to measure visits and advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; parts of the site may not work as well if you do.
How we protect and keep it
We use reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, including access controls and secure, reputable service providers. We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires, then delete or de-identify it.
